Final Show of the 2009/2010 Show Season

Well, the end of show season is upon us. We will wrap up our cat show season in Tucson, Arizona at the Coatimondi "Last Chance" Cat show being held at the Hotel Arizona. The show starts from 4-9 PM Friday 4/23 and 9-5 on 4/24-4/25.

This is a great way to come see a variety of breeds of cats, visit some vendors, and have fun. I understand Tucson is also hosting a dog show that same weekend.

I will be there with my 3 boys. Galahad will be making his official debut as an alter. He's still pretty thin but he's gained almost .5 lb just in the 2 1/2 weeks since his appetite officially returned. His coat is also improving all the time - of course its warm here in Arizona so he's not sporting his winter coat or anything:)

Juuda and Billy will be in Champion class. Juuda is looking pretty ratty right now with much of his coat laying around the house as he's been molting off his pretty winter coat. This will probably be his final show until the fall. The desert southwest is a tough on our longhair guys:) In July we have the Southwest Regional Awards show and I may take him for that - he is currently Best Siberian Kitten for the SW Region and at least for the time being, he is 9th Best Allbreed Kitten for the SW Region and 6th Best Longhair. That may change, but even if it is off a couple spots it was a stellar kitten season for Juuda and I am so proud of him. Hoping his 2010/2011 Championship season is great as well (even if he does share it with Billy).

Billy is making his debut in the Champion class as an 8 month old. He's the youngest of those Siberians that I know have been entered. Billy has a bit shorter, plush coat and as long as he doesn't start dumping it off, I'll have him out for a handful of shows between May and September. Not many but enough to keep him (and me) in practice.

I don't have any kittens to show this time - perhaps in the fall:)
