Happy Birthday Candy

Our girl Candy is celebrating a birthday on Thursday! Candy turns 3 years old and is such a great cat, great mom, and produces such beautiful babies. We can't say enough about her. She's amazing. So, join me in wishing our beautiful momma a big 3rd birthday!! You may post a birthday wish for her in the "Comments" if you would like. Doubt she'll understand when I read them to her, but she gets some Whole Life chicken treats along with it and we KNOW she loves those.

And how is Candy going to celebrate? She is going to be doing a bit of a mission of mercy. A Maine Coon breeder we know lost one of her momma cats during the delivery of the babies. So, there is a litter of orphan kittens that may or may not make it without a mom around. Candy, the fantastic mom that she is, is going to be taking care of these new babies for a while until they are able to be on their own a little bit. We are sure her 8 week olds won't mind sharing a little bit to help save these little guys.
